Lazy Moose Lodge is a family-owned cabin run by Jeremy & Jen Shaw. This page explains, in plain words, what happens to the information you send us through this website.
When you send us a question
The contact form asks for your name, email, phone (optional), trip dates, group size and your message. It goes to our booking inbox so we can answer you. We use it only to reply and help plan your stay.
The free winter itinerary
If you ask for the 3-day winter itinerary, we use your email to send it and, now and then, a short note about the cabin or the area. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will.
What we don't do
We don't sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't share it with anyone except as needed to run your booking.
Booking and payment
Reservations and payments on our calendar are handled by Lodgify, our booking system. We never see or store your card number. Lodgify's own privacy policy covers what it collects at checkout. If you book through Airbnb or Vrbo instead, their policies apply.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages are helpful and how people find us (for example, how many visitors click through to check availability). It uses cookies and gives us totals, not your name. You can block it with your browser's privacy settings or an ad blocker, and the site still works.
Cameras at the cabin
For everyone's safety the cabin has 5 exterior cameras covering the driveway and entry, the sides of the house and the back yard by the fire pit. None of them can see the hot tub, and there are no cameras inside the cabin or in any private areas.
